Qualifications

• Current and valid state CLS license or limited state CLS license as Microbiologist Specialist if required.
• CLS/MT generalist with 1 year microbiology experience or Microbiologist Specialist preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology per CLIA (42 CFR 493.1489).

Responsibilities

• Perform high/complex microbiology testing per CLIA and lab procedures.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document corrective actions.
• Review patient results for accuracy before release/reporting.
• Maintain and calibrate instruments; may perform venipuncture as needed.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology

CLS/MT license (state)
