Job summary

Trigg County Hospital Inc. is seeking a kitchen support staff member to gather, assemble, prepare, and deliver menu items for hospital patients and cafeteria guests. You will help ensure meals are nutritious and served promptly, following established recipes and portioning guidelines.

The role requires basic reading/writing and math, along with a solid understanding of weights and cooking measures. High school education is preferred but not required; 8-hour shifts are standard.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math calculations.
• Also requires a good understanding of weights and cooking units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Gather, assemble, prepare, and deliver assigned menu items to produce and serve nutritious meals for hospital patients and cafeteria customers.
• Help sanitize dinnerware and equipment after each meal as well as store leftovers properly.
