Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to maintain the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. You will provide excellent customer service to patients and staff within a hospital setting.

You will assist with meal preparation, follow strict sanitation standards, perform routine kitchen and dining area cleaning, and ensure meals are prepared, served, and stored per facility policies and diets.

Qualifications

• High School Degree / Equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of food handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• You will assist with food preparations and ensure that the meals adhere to an individual's specific diet plans
• You will strictly follow sanitation standards and hygiene procedures to guarantee the safety and quality of the service
• You will perform routine tasks related to clean up and sanitation of kitchen, dining or serving areas
• You will prepare, serve and store food in accordance with facility policies
• You will utilize service methods and food handling techniques to ensure quality
