Job summary

Nantucket Cottage Hospital is seeking an Inventory/Materials Assistant to support a coordinated supply system across the Hospital and Mass General Brigham affiliates. You will receive, inspect, and store supplies, coordinate with delivery drivers, and manage the loading dock operations.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records in the computer system, ensuring sterile and safe storage, and collaborating with department staff.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED required.
• Knowledge of warehousing and inventory control preferred.
• Ability to work with shipping/receiving processes and computers.

Responsibilities

• Receives, inspects, verifies, and accepts or rejects supplies and equipment.
• Coordinates receiving/shipping activities at the loading dock.
• Maintains inventory records and ensures adequate stock in patient areas.
• Maintains a safe, clean loading dock and storage areas.
• Works with departments on storage and delivery of supplies and equipment.
