Rochester Regional Health's Rochester General Hospital seeks a Materials Handling Tech I to organize, track, and deliver supplies across the hospital system. Your role ensures rooms and floors stay stocked for patient care, with duties spanning receiving, storage, and distribution to support streamlined operations.

You will complete the Materials Management Skills Checklist I, participate in safety trainings, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and communication.

Formación

• Complete Materials Management Skills Checklist I required.
• Hazardous Materials Safety Training and Safety Lifting Program.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office familiarity

Responsabilidades

• Supply & Distribution. Ensure all necessary forms are completed; ensure all materials are stocked to the appropriate level per exchange cart; report all inventory discrepancies to Buyer/Planner, Supervisors and/or Materials Manager; inventory and maintain medical equipment supply levels
• Management of Receivables. Ensure materials are kept in their proper location; review package slips and verify incoming materials
• Messenger Services. Fill miscellaneous orders from departments; transport materials to designated areas with documentation; ensure all incoming materials are signed for by the department
