Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ North Boulder Companion Animal Hospital in Boulder, CO is hiring a Hospital Manager to lead an efficient hospital support team, partner with the Veterinarian to ensure a profitable operation, and uphold a culture of high-quality patient care and customer service.

The role requires 5+ years of office management with supervisory experience, a bachelor’s degree in business or related field, and strong communication and MS Office skills. Some weekend/holiday work is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, health science or related field preferred.
• At least five years of direct office management experience, including two years supervisory.
• Ability to provide customer service in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and related software.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff within all hospital support departments; achieves labor goals.
• Hires and trains office and clinical staff; manages onboarding paperwork.
• Orients and trains new clinic staff to hospital duties.
• Conducts performance appraisals and delivers feedback.
• Manages schedules for technical and administrative staff; coordinates with the DVM.
• Monitors overtime and handles daily operations and billing workflows.
• Maintains compliance with licensing and policy standards.
