Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to inspect, service, and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing equipment in a 495-bed facility serving Amarillo.

Under general supervision, you will respond to requests, perform preventive maintenance, keep maintenance logs, and support service-excellence standards while on-call.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and converse in English.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to pager, radio, or phone requests for maintenance support.
• Performs emergency repairs using proper troubleshooting techniques.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and inspections of equipment as scheduled.
• Maintains logs of inspections, tests, servicing, and repairs; completes work orders.
