Hancock Regional Hospital seeks a skilled maintenance technician to repair and maintain mechanical and electrical systems across the facility. You will read diagrams and manuals, use hand and power tools, and climb ladders up to 25 ft.

You must follow verbal and written instructions and assist with safety compliance. Requires 1 year of trade school or equivalent experience in mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems and carpentry.

Competenze

• Ability to read and follow instructions from written materials.
• Proficient with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Able to climb ladders up to 25 ft and perform light maintenance tasks.
• Stand for one third of the day and walk for two thirds of the day.

Mansioni

• Read and follow diagrams, sketches, and manuals to repair machinery and equipment.
• Repair, assemble, and install equipment using hand tools, power tools and testing equipment.
• Observe devices in operation and locate causes of trouble.
• Replace defective parts to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report emergencies to supervisor.
• Maintain electrical appliances and basic wiring as needed.
• Follow safety and patient care related procedures and guidelines.
