Job summary

Indiana University Health’s University Hospital in Indianapolis seeks a full-time facilities maintenance technician to support preventive and routine maintenance of various systems and equipment. You will perform general building maintenance, inspections, and repairs to keep the campus safe and reliable for patients and staff.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in maintenance or construction; hospital maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Requires one year experience in general maintenance, building construction or other relevant fields.
• Prefer prior hospital maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with scheduled and non-scheduled preventative maintenance of various systems and equipment.
• Performs general building maintenance, inspection, repairs, and general maintenance of the grounds, lots and surroundings.
• Collects, recycles and removes trash from the property.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
