Job summary

United Surgical Partners International is seeking a Maintenance Tech full-time at the Phoenix area hospital. The technician will perform routine and skilled maintenance to ensure reliable building systems and patient safety.

Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, equipment troubleshooting, and support for facilities operations. Strong adherence to safety, efficiency, and standards is required in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or trade school preferred.
• Six months general maintenance experience preferred.
• General knowledge of plant maintenance.
• Knowledge of tools and their use.

Responsibilities

• Inspect equipment and facilities for proper operation; perform routine maintenance and repairs.
• Report serious problems to supervisor for scheduling.
• Unclog drains using snakes, augers, or plungers.
• Troubleshoot and replace TVs, remote controls, nurse call lights, etc.
• Proficiently use standard hand tools, voltmeter, and amp meter.
• Perform routine manual duties and equipment maintenance.
• Clear sinks and grease traps; assemble non-medical equipment.
• Move supplies, furniture and equipment as needed; remove trash.
