LCMC Health is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain equipment, structures, plumbing, and electrical systems across our facilities in Louisiana. The role supports nurse call and fire alarm systems, performs fire drills, and ensures proper documentation.

The position involves evenings shifts and requires at least 2 years of corporate maintenance experience, a valid Louisiana Class E driver's license, and proficiency with hand/power tools and CMMS software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic/technician in a corporate setting.
• Driver's License - Class E - Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles
• Operates hand tools, power tools, equipment and electrical testing equipment requiring manual dexterity.
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions, schematic drawings and layouts.
• Utilize computer, printer, copier, telephone, calculator, cell phone and 2-way radios.
• Ability to work alternative/shift work schedules including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime hours.
• Working knowledge of computer maintenance management software.

Responsabilités

• Performs general repairs and trouble-shooting in assigned areas and documents discrepancies.
• Performs daily preventive maintenance inspections/repairs and completes related documentation.
• Investigates maintenance requests and escalates as needed after assessment.
• Ensures work by other crafts is completed in assigned areas and maintains area ownership.
• Demonstrates dependability and maintains open communication with team members.
• Conducts fire life safety rounds and inspections in line with NFPA standards.
