Job summary

Methodist Hospital Landmark, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general maintenance across hospital facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC and other building systems.

Ideal candidates will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues, follow preventive maintenance procedures in the CMMS, maintain inventory, and communicate effectively with hospital staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years healthcare maintenance experience preferred.
• Certificate in a building trade or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overtime availability for weekends, holidays, evenings or nights.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues with attention to detail.
• Maintain building components, doors, locks, and fixtures as needed.
• Perform minor electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks.
• Enter and track work in the CMMS system.
• Manage inventory and coordinate repairs with hospital staff.
• Plan and schedule repairs within daily operations.
