Job summary
West Oaks Hospital in Houston seeks a Maintenance Tech to join our team, performing installs, repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical and plumbing equipment across hospital systems. Under supervision of the Director, Support Services and Lead Maintenance Tech, you will help ensure equipment reliability, participate in codes, and support daily operations and special events.
A High School Diploma or GED and a Texas driver license are required, with hospital maintenance
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Licensure: Valid Texas Driver License required.
- Experience: Three years in hospital maintenance preferred.
Responsibilities
- Completes all preventive and corrective maintenance work orders as assigned.
- Ensures proper operation of hospital equipment.
- Assists in documentation for JCAHO and state/local regulatory agencies.
- Maintains facilities appearance inside and outside.
- Performs repairs in a timely manner.
- Participates in codes related to the facility, planned or emergency.
- Rotates on-call with other departments.
- Sets up rooms for activities by moving tables, chairs and equipment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
