West Oaks Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Tech to join our team in Houston. The role involves installs, repairs and preventive maintenance on a variety of mechanical or plumbing equipment across the hospital systems.

The Maintenance Tech reports to the Director, Support Services and the Lead Maintenance Tech. Three years of related experience and a valid Texas driver license are required, with on‑call rotation and facility support across a 24/7

Qualifications

• Education Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure and certification Required: Valid Texas Driver License.
• Experience Required: Three years of related experience.
• Preferred: Three years of experience in a hospital.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventive and corrective work orders as assigned.
• Assures proper operation of all hospital equipment.
• Assists in documentation for JCAHO and regulatory agencies.
• Maintains facilities appearance – interior, exterior, and grounds.
• Performs repairs in a timely manner.
• Participates in codes related to the facility, planned or emergency.
• Rotates On‑Call with other departmental staff.
• Sets up rooms for activities or classes by moving furniture and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
