Job summary

River Oaks Hospital in the New Orleans metro area is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Tech to join our compassionate team. This role supports the Director of Plant Operations in installing, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on medical and facility systems across the hospital.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, a valid Louisiana Driver License, and at least three years of related experience (hospital experience preferred).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Louisiana Driver License required.
• Three years of related experience; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes preventive and corrective work orders as assigned.
• Ensures proper operation of hospital equipment.
• Maintains facilities appearance - interior, exterior, and grounds.
• Rotates On-Call with other department staff.
• Sets up rooms for activities or classes by moving tables, chairs and equipment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
