You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safety and reliability of hospital systems. Responsibilities include coordinating with the Director for documentation, supporting regulatory readiness, and maintaining a professional appearance of the facility.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED; Licensure: Valid Louisiana Driver License.
• Experience: Three years of related hospital maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive, corrective, and routine maintenance on hospital equipment and facilities.
• Ensures proper operation of building systems and utilities.
• Assists in documentation for regulatory inspections (JCAHO, state, city).
• Maintains cleanliness and appearance of interior, exterior, and grounds.
• Responds to codes and emergencies as needed.
• Rotates on‑call with other department staff.
• Sets up rooms for activities and events as required.
