Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health, located in Washington, DC, seeks a Supply Chain - Logistics Supervisor to lead the hospital's medical supply warehouse operations. The role focuses on inventory storage, par-levels, and timely distribution of stock with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, a college degree or relevant experience, and Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health opened its doors in April 2025 as the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 25 years! Integrating clinical care with existing community providers, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC’s), The George Washington University Hospital, and our Urgent Care Center in Ward 8, this enhanced integrated delivery system will establish a robust network of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community. Our advanced hospital will offer 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and newborn delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for clinic visits and other outpatient services, onsite 550-car parking garage, and a helipad for emergency transport.

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain - Logistics Supervisor (Full-Time, Day/Night)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Supply Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our medical supply warehouse. The ideal candidate will oversee Distributions Services for inventory storage, par-level management, inventory management and distribution of medical supplies from the facility’s Storeroom while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage warehouse staff, including training scheduling, and performance evaluations
• Coordinates and supports the management of storage and timely delivery of all stock supplies within the hospital
• Ensures that all inventory items are accounted for within the automated inventory system by maintaining close liaison with Purchasing’s Analysts
• Demonstrate actions that reflect a proactive approach to identify and respond to employee issues. Effectively communicates employee satisfaction finds with employees as available
• Ensures that all inventory items are accounted for within the automated inventory system by maintaining close liaison with Purchasing’s Analysts
• Participates in the development of both long and short-range goals for the department and services that are consistent with goals and objectives of the hospital
• Performs other duties as assigned/required.
