Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist to join a nationwide network known for advanced orthotic and prosthetic care. You will assess patients, design and fabricate devices, and collaborate with physicians to deliver superior outcomes.

The role emphasizes hands-on clinical care, hospital exposure, and participation in a hospital on-call rotation. A board certification and licensure readiness are required, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification in Prosthetics and/or Orthotics.
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent with ABC board-eligibility.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain state licensure where required.
• 5+ years of demonstrated prosthetics/orthotics experience under supervision if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to evaluate prosthetic/orthotic service needs.
• Perform fittings, casts, and static/dynamic alignments.
• Maintain detailed clinical notes in patient records.
• Develop and enhance relationships with physicians and referral sources.
