Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Linen Worker to manage the movement of linen across the building, including OR packs and daily linens. The role includes maintaining logs, weighing linen, and coordinating with the Linen Manager and Call Center through EPIC system.

Minimum pay starts at $17.44 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must know how to use and understand pagers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain linen logs (Linen Log, Soiled Linen Log, Clean Linen Log) and Linen distribution sheet; weigh linen daily.
• Deliver clean linen and pick up soiled linen throughout the facility and sometimes external buildings.
• Coordinate with Linen Manager and Hospitality Management Team; update Call Center and EPIC system.
• Neatly fold scrubs and load them into machines across the facility and outer building.
• Ensure linen room is cleaned and organized by type each day by 10:00 AM; perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to HMH competencies and standards of behavior.
