Job summary

Core Linen Services is seeking a Linen Distribution Technician to manage the flow of clean and soiled linen within hospital settings. You will ensure timely delivery and pickup of linen carts, maintain organized inventory, and uphold infection control standards.

This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays and supports healthcare facilities with high-quality linen services and reliable customer service.

Qualifications

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull wheeled carts up to 650 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain clean, organized linen carts to meet designated par levels.
• Deliver clean linen to various hospital departments efficiently and accurately.
• Collect soiled linen carts from multiple floors, especially during second‑shift operations.
• Respond to orders and requests from hospital staff, ensuring timely fulfillment.
• Clean and maintain the linen room, including sweeping, mopping, and general upkeep as needed.
• Open new linen for processing, ensuring proper alignment and staging of carts.
• Comply with all safety and universal precaution protocols, maintaining a safe work environment.
• Report any issues related to customer service, inventory, or equipment promptly to management.
• Adhere to company policies regarding attendance, uniform standards, and use of company equipment.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times when interacting with colleagues and customers.
