Job summary

TEEMA is seeking an Installation & Service Technician to install, service, and maintain ceiling-track patient lift systems in hospitals and long-term care facilities. This hands-on role involves site surveys, audits, and travel to regional and out-of-state sites.

You will train staff, coordinate materials, and ensure safety and quality standards while working with various hand tools and power equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of construction, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, installation or related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with hammer drills, chop saws, band saws, line lasers, tape measures and hand tools.
• Ability to work safely from ladders, scaffolding and scissor lifts; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record.
• OSHA 10 preferred; OSHA 30 is a strong plus.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Install ceiling-track lift systems and related patient-handling equipment.
• Conduct site surveys and review construction drawings and room layouts.
• Audit installations to confirm quality, safety, and company standards.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, storage, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Train hospital and long-term care staff on proper equipment operation.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Travel to regional and out-of-state project sites, including overnight travel.
