Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate department coverage and adapts to workflow changes.
• Answers phones promptly and routes messages appropriately.
• Maintains inventory and proper usage of reagents and supplies.
• Assists with phlebotomy/collection and STAT collections as needed.
• Properly documents and sends lab reports to physicians.
• Distributes mail and supports general lab operations.
• Complies with ethics and Code of Conduct training.
• Checks and reconciles lab tests and related reports.
• Maintains patient care areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Ensures workload is completed and assists teammates.
