Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Omaha, NE invites applications for a casual Utility Technician in the hospital kitchen. You will handle dishwashing, sanitation, and basic kitchen upkeep while supporting a fast-paced food service team dedicated to patient and staff meals.

The schedule is Tuesday 4pm-12:30am with every other weekend 10am-6:30pm, and additional hours may be available as needed. A High School diploma or GED is preferred; 6 months dishwasher experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: 6 months dishwasher experience preferred.
• License/Certifications: N/A

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans by machine or by hand to ensure cleanliness.
• Stores clean dishes and cooking equipment in designated areas.
• Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in a clean and safe condition.
• Follows proper food handling procedures and quality standards for a sanitary environment.
• Operates food service equipment following manufacturer and department procedures.
