Job summary

Med-National Staffing Inc. seeks a Kitchen Utility Worker to support hospital food service operations, maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of kitchen areas, and assist with basic prep and meal service.

You will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, stand for extended periods, and follow infection control and safety guidelines while helping ensure patient and staff meals meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food service or utility experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of basic sanitation and food safety practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, trays, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, workstations, floors, and storage areas.
• Assist with basic food preparation and portioning.
• Transport food carts, supplies, and waste safely throughout the facility.
• Dispose of trash and recycling according to guidelines.
• Follow infection control and safety standards, HACCP guidelines.
• Report safety hazards or sanitation concerns promptly.
• Support kitchen staff during peak service times.
