Job summary

Sierra Medical Center, part of Northern Nevada Health System, is seeking a dishwasher to perform patient food service and dish duties under supervision. You will operate the dish machine, clean and sanitize equipment and areas, and assist with special cleaning tasks, contributing to a cooperative department atmosphere.

The role emphasizes teamwork and maintaining strong inter-department relationships while supporting quality patient care in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses dish machine and dish chemicals appropriately.
• Cleans and sanitizes all kitchen equipment and areas including carts, storage areas, refrigerators, freezers, and floors.
• Performs special cleaning duties as assigned by the nutritional services director/ supervisor.
• Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
