Barton Health in South Lake Tahoe is seeking a dedicated dishwasher to support our hospital food service team. You will help with dishwashing, tray prep, and maintaining sanitary work areas in a fast-paced health-care setting.

The role requires physical effort, adherence to safety procedures, and reliable collaboration with nursing staff to ensure patient meals are delivered clean and on time.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of safety and sanitation procedures.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English; bilingual abilities preferred.
• Current California Food Handlers Card prior to hire or within 30 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Provide consistently exceptional care and support in the dishwashing area.
• Monitor dishwashing machine temperatures, detergent and sanitizer levels, and report issues to supervisor.
• Sanitize wares using the 3-pot-sink when the dish machine is non-operational; identify proper sanitizer concentrations.
• Operate dishwasher and related equipment; report unsafe equipment to supervisor.
• Scrape, wash, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots and pans to ensure adequate supply.
• Transport food carts and related items, pushing/pulling heavy carts as needed.
• Assist nursing units by keeping pantries clean and free of late delivery items.
• Follow departmental safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
