Qualifications

• No experience required; prior food service experience preferred.
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment as required.
• Must wear protective equipment (gowns, gloves, goggles, etc.).
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs. or more, up to 80% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the department.
• Clean floors, floor drains, and work areas to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
• Collect used meal trays from patient areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of food service carts.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation and service equipment.
