Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Utility Worker at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital-Lake Saint Louis to support kitchen and facility operations in a fast-paced environment. The role involves cleaning, sanitation, and basic setup tasks, with some lifting and standing required throughout shifts.

This part-time position offers a competitive hourly pay range and benefits. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided according to site needs and client requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Cleans and sanitizes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using chemicals to meet sanitary standards.
• Restocks supplies like soap, paper towels and cleaning materials.
• Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
