Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Floor Technician at SSM Health Saint Marys Hospital in St. Louis. You will provide high-quality cleaning to maintain a safe, healthy environment, working afternoon/evening shifts with some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning with heavy equipment, carpet care, basic maintenance of walls and baseboards, and potential training of teammates. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential for success on this site.

Qualifications

12 months of related work experience preferred.
Experience with floor care equipment and all phases of floor and carpet care preferred.
Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable and safety-oriented.

Responsibilities

Sweep, mop, buff, polish, scrub, strip and refinish hard-surface floors using heavy equipment.
Vacuum, spot clean and extract carpeted floor surfaces.
May clean furniture and empty trash, linen, and garbage containers.
May wash walls and maintain baseboards and cove base molding.
May assist in training other employees.
Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity.
Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
