Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of therapeutic diets and texture modifications.
• Understand federal, state, and city food codes.
• Experience with quantity cooking in healthcare or similar setting.
• Ability to read menus and follow dietary orders accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food following recipes and policies.
• Ensure patient diets are followed and meals served on time.
• Label and portion foods; maintain temperature controls per policy.
• Manage receiving, storing, and inventory; report stock levels.
• Maintain sanitation and safety; use PPE as required.
