You will prepare, serve, and forecast menu items according to recipes and production methods, ensuring quality, proper temperatures, and appealing presentation for patients and staff. The role requires walking up to 7 hours, lifting up to 50 lb, and ability to work rotating day and evening shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous cooking experience preferred, hospital or restaurant setting desired.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all foods, ensuring quality, quantity and presentation for service.
• Ensures correct temperatures and merchandises items to optimize quality.
• Reviews menus and ensures proper forecasted preparation for service periods.
• Assists with general sanitation and maintains a clean work area.
