Job summary

Food Management Group, Inc. is seeking a dependable Cook to join our food service team. This role prepares meals for patients, employees, and guests under the direction of the Food Service Director.

You will work with a dedicated team to ensure meals are prepared accurately and safely for scheduled service times. The ideal candidate follows approved menus, adheres to portion guidelines, and maintains a clean, organized kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial or institutional cooking experience preferred.
• Ability to follow recipes and written and verbal instructions.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation.
• Dependable attendance and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Must pass criminal background and drug test.
• Must have transportation.
• Must be ready for immediate hire pending background and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals using approved menus, recipes, and portion guidelines.
• Have meals ready for scheduled service times.
• Follow food safety procedures and instructions for special diets and allergies.
• Check and record food temperatures.
• Assist with meal service and keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• Work cooperatively with the food service team.
