You will follow standardized recipes, prepare ingredients, and ensure safe handling and labeling of foods. The role involves scale-up and line assembly for patient trays, coordination with other kitchen staff, and maintaining temperature logs.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience in food preparation/serving.
• Vocational/Technical Vocational courses in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and prepares ingredients for cooking by cleaning and cutting.
• Follows standardized recipes, calculates ingredients based on weight and volume.
• Records temperatures correctly on temperature log sheets.
• Responsible to replace food items that do not fit standards.
• Stores food items as required, labeling and dating items per standards.
