Job summary

Bay Area Hospital is seeking a dedicated Food Service Associate I to join our Food and Nutrition team. This full-time role supports tray line activities, cleans and restocks areas of the kitchen and cafeteria, and helps ensure patient meals are delivered accurately.

Responsibilities include washing dishes, restocking supplies, assisting with catering events, and following standardized recipes and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must hold (or obtain within 30 days) Oregon Food Handler or ServSafe certification.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Continually washes, sanitizes, and stores all dishes, utensils, and pots & pans.
• Restocks dishes, utensils, and pots and pans in appropriate locations.
• Assists with patient tray line activities and catering events.
• Cleans equipment and follows standardized recipes for various services.
• Delivers meals and maintains hygiene and safety standards in the department.
