ARIZONA STATE HOSPITAL in Phoenix seeks a Hospital Investigator to conduct high-visibility investigations of patient rights and compliance concerns. You will prepare written reports for the Complaint, Grievance and Appeal Committee and may testify at administrative hearings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, criminal justice, administrative law, or healthcare compliance preferred.
• Three years of related field experience in behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex internal investigations and prepare detailed reports.
• Perform audits and coordinate with clinical leadership to identify risks.
• Schedule and mediate SMI appeals and prepare outcome reports.
• Provide testimony at administrative hearings as needed.
• Assist with complaint investigations and regulatory surveys.
