Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician I to support safe, timely pharmacy services under supervision. Responsibilities include preparing, labeling, dispensing unit-dose medications, and delivering meds to patient care areas in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will hold Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician licensure, be board-certified (PTCB CPhT or NHA ExCPT), and have 0–1 year of experience. This onsite role offers a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License required.
• Board certified (PTCB CPhT or NHA ExCPT) required.
• 0–1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, fill, label, repackage, and deliver medications for pharmacist verification.
• Audit medication storage areas and automated dispensing cabinets; process recalls.
• Handle controlled substances per state and federal regulations.
• Operate pharmacy robotics and information systems.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, pharmacists, and team members.
