Job summary

Cook County Health is seeking an experienced supervisor for the In Patient Transportation department at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital.

The role oversees daily operations in a designated area, coordinates staff and liaises with supervisory personnel in other areas to ensure smooth patient transport workflows. The position requires at least two years in-patient transportation and one year of supervisory experience, along with strong report-writing and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of in-patient transportation experience are required.
• One (1) year of supervisory experience is required.
• Must be skillful in writing reports and able to type.

Responsibilities

• Makes out daily work assignments.
• Schedules lunch and break periods.
• M akes rounds daily, at least twice.
• Prepares daily report.
• Submits absenteeism report monthly.
• Gives report of any nature of relieving Supervisor or Dispatcher in absence of Supervisor.
