Job summary

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid Tennessee driver’s license required.
3+ years healthcare or equivalent experience.
Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good written and oral communication.
Familiar with NFPA, ASRAE Standards and JCAHO expectations.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on hospital systems and equipment for efficiency and safety.
Maintain compliance with OSHA lockout/tagout safety practices.
Utilize appropriate PPE and safety practices consistently.
Label equipment out of service and inform staff of backups promptly.
Operate two-way radios and respond to calls in a timely manner.
Assist other department staff and take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
