Brown University Health is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain hospital heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and related equipment. You will respond to maintenance calls on off-shifts and weekends, ensuring safety and reliability of critical systems at Rhode Island Hospital.

The role requires 1–2 years formal HVAC training or a 3-year accredited apprenticeship, plus RI licenses.

Formación

• 1–2 years formal training in heating, ventilation and refrigeration or equivalent.
• License: RI Refrigeration Journeyman or Refrigeration Operators license.
• RI Stationary Operating License (City of Providence) or equivalent.
• Completion of three years accredited Apprenticeship HVAC Program.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, repair and maintain hospital HVAC systems and related equipment.
• Respond to off-shift and weekend maintenance calls for plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Record readings, adjustments and logs; use work order systems for equipment histories.
