Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. in Fall River, MA is seeking an HVAC Mechanic Associate to perform routine predictive and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems across hospital facilities, troubleshoot malfunctions, repair, calibrate and test equipment, and recommend corrective actions.

The role requires a high school diploma, Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification, and 2 years of hospital or industrial experience with HVAC maintenance; vaccination against influenza and COVID-19 is required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification required.
• Related experience required to operate and maintain typical HVAC systems.
• Two years experience in a hospital or industrial/commercial environment with knowledge in maintenance and repair of building HVAC components.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or have exemption by signing a waiver.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine predictive & preventive maintenance on HVAC throughout the facilities.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctioning HVAC equipment and systems.
• Make repairs, calibrate, and functionally test equipment and systems.
• Recommend solutions for necessary corrective action.
