Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to operate, maintain, repair boilers, chillers, and related HVAC systems to keep patient care areas safe and comfortable.

The role requires at least four years' experience with industrial boilers or HVAC systems, EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid PA/NJ driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of four years' experience with firing low/high-pressure boilers and/or industrial HVAC systems.
• EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification (EPA) required.
• Must have and maintain a valid PA or NJ Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, repairs, tests, and records readings for boilers, chillers, HVAC equipment, and related systems.
• Ensures boilers, chillers and related equipment operate correctly with minimal disruption to patients and staff.
• Performs scheduled maintenance and documents work per engineering procedures.
• Assesses problems, determines severity, and reports to engineering supervisor for action.
• Works safely and independently; collaborates with other departments as needed.
