Job summary

Danbury Hospital is seeking an experienced HVAC Mechanic to inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC and related systems across the hospital facility. The role emphasizes ASHE/ASHRAE 170 standards and requires strong BMS/BAS knowledge and field troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• HVAC Mechanical State License is required.
• CT S-2 license is required for CT locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, refrigeration, heating systems per blueprints and manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure environmental conditions per ASHE/ASHRAE 170 standards to support patient and staff comfort.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment including chillers, RTUs, AHUs, dampers and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with HVAC Lead and BMS contractor on system upgrades and control platforms.
