Job summary

IBERIA MEDICAL CENTER in New Iberia, LA seeks a Plant Operations II Tech / HVAC to join our team. You will maintain and repair hospital mechanical systems, lead technicians, perform PMs and emergency work orders, and support security and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CPI de-escalation training with registration within one year of hire is required.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigeration Certificate required; universal certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair boiler, HVAC, and related mechanical systems in a hospital setting.
• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance work orders promptly.
• Assist Plant Operations Director and staff on projects as needed.
• Support on-call rotations and respond to emergency repairs.
