Job summary

CBRE is seeking an HVAC Engineer to maintain mechanical and electrical equipment for complex hospital HVAC systems on a Grapevine campus. You will perform proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance to ensure safety and operational efficiency.

The role requires 4–5 years of experience, strong knowledge of HVAC control systems, and the ability to work on-site within a healthcare environment using Microsoft Office tools for reporting and documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Certifications in Plumbing and HVAC preferred.
• Meet the physical requirements (stooping, standing, walking, stairs, carrying 50+ lbs).
• Ability to analyze information and exercise judgment.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion.
• Install, repair, service and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems for HVACR equipment.
• Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment for proper operation and code compliance.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and propose corrective actions.
• Apply standard principles to complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share knowledge across disciplines.
• Lead by example and help build consensus within teams.
• Impact customer, operational, and project activities within the department.
• Explain difficult or sensitive information to stakeholders.
