Job summary

Griffin Memorial Hospital in Norman, OK is seeking a Housekeeping/Custodial Worker I & II to perform sweeping, mopping, dusting and trash disposal in a 120-bed inpatient facility. Training will be provided; position is full-time, non-exempt, with a 6:30 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Monday–Friday schedule.

Minimum qualifications: Level II requires one year custodial experience; Level I requires none. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel, pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• Level II requires one year experience in building or institutional custodial work or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Level I requires no experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting and trash disposal in a 24-hour inpatient facility.
• Train on more advanced tasks, including disposal of hazardous materials.
• Disposal of hazardous materials or other restricted items as needed.
