Job summary

Spring Grove Hospital Center in Catonsville, MD, seeks an experienced housekeeping supervisor to lead staff across a large state facility on a 189-acre campus. The role requires valid MD driver's license and ability to drive a state vehicle.

You will oversee daily cleaning in common areas, ensure supplies are stocked and safety standards met, and report to a higher-level supervisor. The position is emer­gency essential with competitive benefits and a commitment to quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent
• Experience: Eight years in a large-scale housekeeping operation; four years in a supervisory capacity
• Notes: Military experience or additional supervisory experience may substitute for required education/experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff engaged in housekeeping at a large state facility on an 189-acre campus
• Maintain cleaning supplies to meet the needs of workers and operations
• Possess and maintain a valid Maryland driver’s license and be able to drive a state vehicle as required
