Job summary

Heywood Healthcare is seeking a Project/Facilities Coordinator to support hospital cleaning operations. The role requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with flexibility to cover shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Hours are 40 per week, typically 7:00am–3:30pm, with alternate schedules; confidentiality, safety, and teamwork are essential. The position involves physical tasks and adherence to safety protocols in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Able to work with healthcare teams to complete assignments.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to procedures.
• Able to follow training and demonstrate proper use of chemicals, supplies and tools.
• Able to pass skill and safety aptitude tests.

Responsibilities

• Works with departmental and healthcare teams to complete assignments.
• Removes or arranges for removal of safety hazards to prevent risks.
• Keeps equipment clean and in working condition.
• Maintains inventory to ensure projects can be completed without delays.
• Coordinates projects to meet customer satisfaction and complete without incidents.
• Communicates project needs and progress to department managers.
• Demonstrates safe project work with chemicals and proper techniques.
• Fulfills scheduled tasks and adapts shifts for coverage.
