Job summary

Baptist Healthcare System is seeking a Housekeeping Associate II to maintain cleanliness across hospital areas including Procedure rooms, ED, ICU, GI Lab and restrooms. You will remove trash, distribute linen, and perform routine cleaning with attention to infection control.

The role requires 2 years of cleaning experience in healthcare or hospitality, English literacy, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team while adhering to safety policies and performance standards.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Able to read, write and understand the English language.
• PREFERRED EDUCATION : High School Graduate, GED, or 2 years of full-time work experience in environmental services in lieu of education.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE : 2 years of cleaning experience in hospitality or healthcare and terminal cleaning experience.

• Clean assigned areas using prescribed methods.
• Maintain and clean equipment; report repairs as needed.
• Apply infection control practices and isolation techniques.
• Move furniture or heavy equipment as directed.
