Riverside Healthcare is seeking a Housekeeper II to maintain a clean, safe environment across patient rooms, operating rooms, and laboratories. You will follow hospital cleaning protocols, perform advanced floor care, and train junior staff.

This role requires physical fitness and the ability to respond to emergencies with speed and accuracy. Responsibilities include cleaning high-touch surfaces, handling biohazardous waste, and ensuring compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to perform physically demanding cleaning tasks in patient rooms and critical areas.
• Familiarity with hospital cleaning protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Experience mentoring or training new housekeeping staff preferred.
• Proficient operation of hospital cleaning equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, operating rooms, and critical areas following protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and steam cleaners.
• Conduct advanced cleaning tasks including terminal cleaning and floor care; report safety hazards.
• Assist in training Housekeeper I staff on procedures and safety protocols.
