Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation is seeking a hospital housekeeping professional to maintain clean, safe patient and non-patient areas within the hospital. The role supports department quality efforts and follows established procedures to ensure a sanitary environment.

Responsibilities include performing a 7-step cleaning process, adhering to infection control guidelines, maintaining supplies and floors, and completing assigned goals while complying with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Appropriate housekeeping experience.
• Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects areas by completing 7 step cleaning process.
• Practices infection control guidelines by adhering to universal precautions and practices safety precautions completing work assignments.
• Maintains equipment, storage rooms and environmental closets in orderly fashion.
• Performs all floor maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
• Follows Service First principles.
• Fulfills Hospital required competencies.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policy and procedures.
• Completes assigned goals.
